Kohinoor Hydro Energy (P) Ltd is also coming with a Power project in Nepal which is yet again a milestone in the progress of the Group. The project has been identified by the World Bank Institution (ADB) as the Top Ten Hydro Power Projects in Nepal and has shown great interest to associate for the development of the same. All of the major assessment work is completed along with the major root level tasks of drilling, detailed engineering and land acquisition etc. The work progress is ahead of the schedule and further moving on a satisfactory pace.

The encouragement and confidence has been further increased after signing of BIPPA Agreement between India and Nepal. With this, now the Government of Nepal is providing a Sovereign Guarantee to the investment made by the Indian Institutions and Indian Companies in Nepal; thus the investment climate has become further friendly and attractive in Nepal.
